Summer Positions
A Summer at Pine Grove is more than just a Summer Job; it is an opportunity to impact the life of a child while learning valuable leadership and management skills.
Each year, we hire high school seniors, college students, and adults to fill our Group Counselor and Specialist positions. When screening potential Summer Staff, we start by looking for the following:
Available and willing to commit to the full 8 weeks of camp.- Strong work ethic and dedication shown through their past work experience and extra circular activities.
- Positive Role Models that are committed to helping our campers achieve personal growth and success over the Summer.
Working at camp is a challenging job, but also very rewarding. We hold our staff to an extremely high standard. Our Group Counselors and Specialists are supervised by Division Heads (hover thing, explaining) who check in throughout the day to provide feedback and coaching.

Lifeguards and WSIs
Come to Pine Grove and be part of an elite swim instructional and guarding staff. WE CAN CERTIFY YOU IN LIFEGUARDING AND CPR, AND WE WILL FULLY REIMBURSE YOU FOR WSI Training!!! Counselors

Teen Travel Counselors
Our 7th, 8th & 9th grade campers participate in our Teen Travel program, which combines all of our camp activities paired with a variety of day trips and one overnight opportunities. Teen Travel Counselors must have completed at least one year of college.
Video Production
We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of IMovie and Final Cut as well as a background in film and photography. This is a great opportunity for any film majors to showcase their talents and share their passion, as video clips can and will be posted on our website. Bus Drivers

Athletic Specialists
College Athletes or Coaches, this is a job for you. Teach your sport as well as others in an old school neighborhood environment. The focus here is on success as we want each child to experience success as they are being introduced to new sports. LIT’s
The Leaders in Training (LIT) Program is designed to teach young adults how to be exemplary employees and members of a team. Under the guidance of the LIT Director, LITs are taught about work responsibilities, given direct feedback on their performance and are guided through making corrections. LITs will travel and attend a Leadership/Wilderness Training Program during the second week of camp. If you have completed your freshman or sophomore year in HS and are looking for a great summer experience, being an Pine Grove Leader-in-Training may be for you! This is a tough but rewarding job with lots of real responsibility. We are seeking highly motivated 15 year olds who have a genuine love for working with children. There is a fee for this training program to cover the trip and the direct supervision for the summer. Apply Now
